About SubAlpine Coffee
Nestled between the Great Range and the Jay Range in the High Peaks of the Adirondack mountains, SubAlpine Coffee is a community cafe providing specialty coffee, tea, and high quality food to lovers of mountains, wilderness, wellness and the greater Adirondack Park.
We were founded in 2015 and operate out of a refurbished 1920 home in the heart of Keene Valley. We are located right across the street from the legendary Noon Mark Diner. Whether the Adirondacks are your home or your getaway, you are welcome to join us in our hub to the amazing world of specialty coffee and whole food.
Why Counter Culture Coffee?
Counter Culture Coffee is a natural partner for SubAlpine. Since their founding in 1995 as a pioneering specialty coffee roaster, Counter Culture has relentlessly pursued coffee perfection, a dedication to real sustainability, and a commitment to cutting-edge coffee education throughout the coffee chain.
They have over two decades of expertise in sourcing and roasting some of the finest coffee in the world, in addition to educating their partners in barista techniques, brewing science and coffee origins. As a result, the coffee that gets prepared in partner cafes is second to none.
Whether the beans are single-origin, paying respects to the individual farms, farmers and regions from which the coffee hails, or specially formulated blends, they arrive to SubAlpine freshly roasted and are brewed within two weeks of the roast date.
